This was the first municipal park in California (City of San Jose). I wasn't expecting much, but there was some interesting history at the back of the canyon.




Back around the turn of the century, there were all these bathing pools that were fed by a variety of mineral springs.





Here is one of the old springs where it exits the mineral rich cliff.





If you look closely below, you will see a deer, a turkey vulture, and the biggest fly in the world. Maybe it's a junebug.
